Bleda the Hun
Attila and Bleda were brothers who came into co-regency of the Hunnic Empire when their Uncle Ruga died.
Attila was named Commander of the Army while Bleda, as the senior brother, became Minister for Diversity and Inclusion.
The Hunnic hoards were organized according to the color of their banners: Black, White, Blue, and Red, but for a time there were Rainbow Huns as Sensitivity soared under Bleda. Some Commanders even Transitioned becoming, as it were, 5th century Rachael Levine’s.
While Bleda was greatly loved, Attila thought these policies diminished the Terror that had always preceded the Hunnic hoards . It was rumored that Attila sometimes even failed to use the preferred pronouns of his military commanders.
But eventually Attila came to embrace Diversity and Inclusion and the Huns ushered in a new golden age of peace, love and understanding in Central Eurasia.
Nah!
Fifth century barbarians are wildly insensitive to the truly important issues that dominate our Universities.
What really happened is that Attila murdered his brother, had trans commanders drawn and quartered, and anyone of any rank who mentioned preferred pronouns was impaled.
And the Huns were the scourge of Central Asia and Europe for decades, terrorizing and killing millions.
So Bleda’s efforts were in vain. The Huns were not nice.
